 | Beaver Scouts from the 5th Rossendale, 21st Rossendale, 38th Rossendale (two Colonies) and 42nd Rossendale got together for an Olympic themed fun day. Each Group put on an activity or game from a different country. |
| The 5th represented Greece, the 21st Japan, the 38th (Grey) Italy, the 38th (Purple) Sweden and the 42nd France. The Beavers learnt a little about the culture of each country and then over lunch were given the chance to taste a selection of food from the countries. A truly international affair! The highlight of the day was the opportunity to see and hold an Olympic Torch courtesy of an Olympic Torch Bearer and Leader at the 42nd Rossendale Scout Group. |
