Over the weekend of the 7th to the 9th July 2023, Purple Pack Cubs took on a weekend of adventure at the Bowley International Scout Campsite.
On the Friday evening they began the weekend with a hike to Great Harwood before spending a very sleepless night in the dorms. The plan to tire the out had not worked!
Saturday brought a day of challenges and adventure with Splatapults, Crate Stacking, Leap of Faith and Air Rifle Shooting.
Saturday evening would see the Pack join our Grey Troop Scouts who were camping for the weekend. There was a joint effort around the campfire before the Cubs returned to the Lodge ending the night with a movie and a much better night’s sleep.
On Sunday the Cubs enjoyed soft archery and playing in the fort before ending camp with a traditional Cubs vs. Leaders water fight.
A brilliant weekend with so much fun and thank you to everyone involved!
