Purple Colony Beavers were hosted by the volunteer staff at The Whitaker who assisted the Beavers with part of their My Skills Challenge Award.
They were required to make a visit to somewhere new and learn at least five facts, so the Beavers set about their mission with enthusiasm.
Working in pairs they were asked to find objects in the museum beginning with every letter of the Alphabet. Many achieved their goal.
The evening was round off with a drink and biscuit and the answers to the mystery objects.
