Beavers Scouts from both Grey and Purple Colonies enjoyed their first Sleepover since the Summer of 2019 because of the COVID Pandemic.
Grey Colony Beavers arrived at the Bowley Scout Campsite on the Friday evening for their night away. They participated in the Grass Sledging and the Beaver Trail activity before enjoying games of BINGO and Beetle before supper and bed.
During the flag-break on the Saturday morning Purple Colony arrived ready for their day of activities and their night away on the Saturday evening.
Over the weekend both Colonies participated in a range of activities including the Blind Trail, Splatterpults, Crate Stacking and Paddleboarding.
Purple Colony also completed the Grass Sledging activity and the Beaver Trail.
At teatime on the Saturday, both Colonies were joined by the Cub Scouts of Purple Pack.
They were served a full roast dinner who thanks to a wonderful catering team who catered for nearly 100 hungry Young People and Leaders.
This was followed by a campfire for the Beavers and the Cubs before Grey Colony Beavers left at 8:00 pm.
Purple Colony completed their activities on the Sunday morning before going home at midday.
